John C. SPARKS

John C. Sparks, 85, lifetime resident and farmer of southern Graham county, passed away Monday afternoon, October 16, 1972, at the Trego County Hospital in WaKeeney, after being hospitalized for the past 9 days.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday, the 19th) at 2:00 p.m. at the Prairie Home Methodist Church in southern Graham county with interment in the Church cemetery. Friends may call at the Hendricks Funeral Home in WaKeeney until 12:00 noon today.

The family suggests Memorials to the Prairie Home Methodist Church of which Mr. Sparks was a member. He also belonged to the Hill City Rebekah Lodge No. 599, and WaKeeney IOOF Lodge No. 409.

He is survived by his wife, Florence, of the home; one son, Elmer, one daughter, Viola, of the home; a brother Ben, and four grandchildren.

Burial in Prairie Home cemetery.
