Duane Towns
Duane
Towns, 83, of Palco, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at the Graham County Hospital
in Hill City. He was born Jan. the 29, 1926, in rural Graham County to Clarence
Almer and Ida Mae (Burgess) Towns. He married Isabell Keller on Aug. the 30,
1945, in rural Ellis. He was an industrial welder.
Survivors
include his wife, of the home; two sons, Michael Towns, and Stan Towns, a
daughter, Pam Post, a brother, Francis Towns, a sister, Hilda Stoll, six
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son
and a granddaughter.
Burial
is in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Palco, Kansas.
