Elmer Wittman:
Elmer
Wittman, 88 of Quinter died Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at the Gove County Medical
Center in Quinter. He was born July 28, 1920, in St. Peter to Frank and
Katherine (Scheck) Wittman. He married Corona Marie (Rohr) Wittman on Dec. the
25, 1943, in San Francisco. She preceded him in death Sept. the 10, 2007. He
was a town marshal for the city of Quinter.
Survivors
include six sons, Gary Wittman, Leon Wittman, Dennis Wittman, Randy Wittman,
Jim Wittman, and Rick Wittman, Neb.; a sister, Ida Zimmerman, 16 grandchildren;
and 23 great-grandchildren.
Burial
is in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Park.
