Virgil "Gene" WILCOX

Virgil ÒGeneÓ Wilcox, 77, Hill City, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City. He was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Densmore to Joseph Ira and Julia Florence (Davis) Wilcox. He married Shirley Moore. He later married Margarett ÒPeggyÓ McGee on May 17, 1969, in Phillipsburg.
He was a farm laborer.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Virgil Wilcox, Jr., two step-sons, Darold Kowalke, and Herman Kowalke, a daughter, Kandy Worcester, two step-daughters, Peggy Metcalf, and Kathy Foster, a brother, Marion Wilcox, a sister, Harriete Neizgoda, two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children and a step-son.
Burial in Densmore Cemetery.
