Annette Pearl Wood, 81, McPherson, formerly of Hill City and Norton, died Friday, March 24,2006, at Memorial Hospital, McPherson. She was born Aug. 2, 1924, in Sterling, Colo., daughter of Glenn and Bertha V. (Holtzman) McBride. She was a 1942 graduate of Oberlin High School. She married Francis Lee ""Bill"" Wood on Oct. 25, 1942, in Oberlin. She was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for Red Willow County Courthouse, McCook.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Frances Lee, Ann Schaben, and Marcia Annette Weiland, eight grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great -great-grandchildren.
Burial in Hill City Cemetery
