Rae Ball
I have been attempting to trace a lost relative, who appears to have
gone to Harper, Kansas.
His name is Wm Roland Ball, and he was founder president and manager of
Harper Normal School and Business College in 1887. I believe he was
there until at least 1917.
His sister, Miss Madge M Ball was also on staff it seems.
He was married to Agnes.
His Grandfather, Thomas Ball and father, Samuel Ball emigrated from
Wiltshire Eng to Ontario in 1830. Samuel moved to Coopersville, Mich,
and I only recently traced the family there.
Can you find anything further on Roland? Did he have a family? Are there
still Balls in the Harper area?
Thanks, Rae Ball, raeball@sympatico.ca
