Reed - Biography published Thursday, February 26, 1903, in the Jewell County Monitor newspaper: "A glance around the barber shop of E.B. Reed would convince anyone that he understands his business, and when he shaves you or cuts your hair you will at once conclude that he is thoroughly the master of his trade. He has worked 9 years at the business. He has his shop fitted with two modern chairs with everything else up-to-date, which adds to the comfort of his customers. Mr. Reed is a native of Kansas, and came to Jewell county when quite young. He has been in business at Randall 5 years. He informs us that he is enjoying a fine trade.
