Do not send broad general requests such as: "I have Jones relatives who lived somewhere in Kansas, can you find them?" or "Send me everything on the Smith family for this county."
Where indexes are available, check the index before you make your request.
No photocopies will be made. Many of the source materials are subject to copyright restrictions. You can get the publications or photocopies through interlibrary loan or by making a request to the Miami County Genealogy and Historical Society.
Please do not write your request in all upper case letters. It makes it too hard to read.
