COUNCIL GROVE REPUBLICAN, 27 November 1929
Notice of Death for OLIVE VARNER HUTCHISON
HOLD FUNERAL HERE
--------------------------------------
Mrs. Perry Hutchison. Died. Suddenly in Parsons.
--------------------------------------
Word reached Mrs. Fletcher Collins this morning of the death in Parsons of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Perry Hutchison, for many years a resident of this county. Mrs. Hutchison had been suffering from a head infection and died very suddenly.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Gene Vandeveer of Parkerville and Floyd Hutchison of Texas. Mrs. Peter Good of Parkerville is a sister and Joe Varner a brother.

The body will be brought back here for burial services and interment will be made at Greenwood cemetery. The time of the funeral is uncertain, but not likely to occur until Friday, at least.

A message announcing her death reached here just minutes after Mrs. Collins had opened a letter from Mrs. Hutchison stating that she was much better and hoped to recover. She was about 60 years old.
