Last Will of MICHAEL KITTERMAN
Neosho County, Kansas-Will of Michael Kitterman-1 Nov. 1885

In the name of God, Amen, I Michael Kitterman being weak in body and sound in mind and believing I shall soon die, make this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to wit:

First- I direct my executor herein after mentioned to pay out of my estate as soon as possible after my decease, all my just debts together with the expenses of my last sickness and my funeral and last inventory expenses.

Second-I give and bequeath to my wife Abigail all of my estate both real and personal including Bonds and mortgages and promissory notes, money, etc. excepting promissory note 

I hold against Timothy D. Kitterman for one hundred Dollars, this property to be solely her own to use as she pleases as long as she lives, and after her death to be equally divided between my children, Timothy Day Kitterman, Sampson Johnson Kitterman, Abigail Kitterman, my lawful children.

Third-I give and bequeath to my son Timothy Day Kitterman a Certain promissory note I hold against him for one hundred Dollars, before mentioned.

Fourth-I hereby appoint Sampson Johnson Kitterman my sole executor of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this first day of November AD 1885.

The foregoing Instrument was at the date thereof signed published and declared by the testator Michael Kitterman as his last will and testament in the presence of us and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witness thereto. Jesse G. Cannon, Minfol Waber, Alfred G. Soveridge

Affidavit of Death-State of Kansas- Neosho County.

In the matter of the estate of Michael Kitterman, Late of said county, deceased. On this 28 day of Dec. A. D. 1885 personally appeared before me, the undersigned, Judge of said court Sampson J. Kitterman who being by me duly swore, according to law, doth upon his oath depose and say that Michael Kitterman died on the 9 day of December A. D. 1885, at Cornith, Ks. County and State aforesaid that to the best of his knowledge and belief, the names and places of residence of the legettess of his the said deceased: Abigail Kitterman his widow, Timothy D. Kitterman, son, Sampson J. Kitterman son, Abigail Kitterman daughter all residing in Neosho County, Kansas, except Abigail living 
in Coffee County, Ks. and Timothy D. living in Washington Territory and that the deceased died with a will and he further states that the said Michael Kitterman died seized and possessed of personal estate, consisting of notes and accounts, mortgage and one horse and knife. all of said property being estimated to be worth about $8.50.Your petitioner would therefore respectively pray that your Honor will grant letters of executor to Sampson J. Kitterman.

and singular the goods and chattels and estate, real and personal, specifying each article appraised, its value, and total amount of appraisement made by the 
undersigned appraisers, at ----- on the 27 day of February, A.D. 1886

State of Kansas, Neosho County

On the 27 day of February, A.D. 1886, personally appeared before me, the undersigned, a Probate Judge, in and for the county of Neosho aforesaid, J.S. Swope and W.P. Wright, who, being by me duly sworn according to law. Upon their respective oaths declare and say, that they will Truly, honestly and impartially appraise the property of Michael Kitterman deceased, which shall be exhibited to them and perform such other duties as may be required by law in the premises, to the best of their knowledge and ability.

1889, fifth note due Dec. 8, 1890, sixth note due 
Dec. 8, 1891, seventh note due Dec. 8, 1892. All 
of the before mentioned notes indorsed on back.

sum of one hundred dollars bearing interest at
the rate of 10 % per anum until paid said note
having been dated Dec. 28, 1883 with indorse-
ment on back Sept. the 3 rd. 1885 credit, on the

A note of hand signed by S. J. Kitterman of date
Dec. 18, 1883 in the amount of %110.00 bearing 
interest at the rate of 10 % per anum due on this 
note today $66.10 $ 66.10
