His name was Felix Conway 'Connie' HORNBECK, he was born 9 May 1868 in Iona, Michigan and died 7 May 1932 in Chanute, Neosho County, Kansas. He is buried in the Galesburg Cemetery. His wife was Mary Ann (REED) HORNBECK, she died 7 February 1954 in Chanute, Neosho County, Kansas and is also buried in the Galesburg Cemetery. This has me totally puzzled because it is just like they fell off the face of the earth. They lived in the Chanute area for many years. He was born in Arkansas to a Noah MARTIN and Lora (Loretta) HARRISON. Dolph was married to Edith and had 13 children. His son had a bait shop in Chanute. I do not know any of the children's names. The FANATIA family lived near Erie and/or Chanute during the early 1900s. Father's name was Lewis William FANATIA; mother's name was Fannie CROWDER. Her father's name was Tom CROWDER. The FANATIA's had a large family of 12 children (10 girls and two boys): Sylvia, Opal, Lizzie, Mryl, Flossie, Roxy, Ethel, Goldie, Josephine (called Jo), Wilma, Tom and Lewis (called Red). Earliest information on the FANATIA family is an ancestor named Sarah FANATIA, who died June 1880 in Neosho County. The trail is cold so any information is greatly appreciated. I believe such records may exist at a catholic church. My Grandparents lived in Neosho County from 1906 to 1910 about 3 1/2 miles north-northwest of Thayer. It is believed they would have attended church in Thayer. This church no longer exists. My contacts at the court house in Erie suggested the church in St. Paul as a resource. I am looking for the names of the catholic church in St. Paul, Kansas. My Grandparents' names were Henry A. and Florence (LAUBERSHEIMER) BOEDDEKER. My ancestors are the brothers: Erik PERSSON NORMAN, born 13 January 1859 in Söderala Parrish Hälsingland County. Axel PERSSON, born 16 April 1869 also in Söderala Parrish. They're departure from Gothenburg in Sweden on the 15th of July in 1887 on the ship 'Romeo' with the destination Hull. They claimed the final destination where Chanute, Kansas. I want to know if they ever reached Chanute, if they did, the "Swedish" Parrish in Chanute would probably contain data about those two.
