The deceased had been sick only a day or two, when he was taken with a violent coughing spell, during which it is believed he ruptured a blood vessel, as he died soon afterwards. He leaves a wife and a family of children to mourn his death. The funeral occurred Monday afternoon at two o’clock. Services were held by Rev. William Richmond, of the Episcopal church, at the residence, after which the body was taken charge of by the Knights of Pythias, and buried by them in the Larned cemetery.
