WILL HONOR SOLDIER

Memorial services for S/Sergt. Gilbert B. Carrell, Wichitan killed in action December 25 in the European theater of war, will be conducted, at 3 p. m. Sunday froxn Woodland Community church, Sixteenth and Salina. Rev. W. S. House, pastor, will officiate.
A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Arnold Kuhns, Mrs. Willard Schrader, Fred Neff and Howard W. Harper, will provide music. Harper will also act as soloist.
Sergeant Carrell is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Carrell, 410 West Elm; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Benninger, and Mrs. Lois Davis, of Wichita, and Mrs. Hazel Duncan, Amarillo, Tex., and three brothers, Albert G., of Wichita, Pfc. Floyd N., with an aircraft unit on Okinawa, and Sergt. Ralph E., with a chemical warfare unit in England.
