In Coleman Services
Friends of Wichita manufacturer W. C. Coleman, who died Saturday, may call at Gill Mortuary, 243 N. Emporia, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday it was announced Sunday.
Services for the 87-year-old founder of Coleman Co. will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. F. B. Thorn, pastor, officiating.
Born May 21, 1870, Mr. Coleman established in 1901 the firm which was to become one of Wichita’s leading manufacturing plants. The company grew to include five factories – two in Wichita, one in Indiana and two in Toronto, Canada.
