Casualties in European

Theater

One Wichita service man was listed Thursday as killed ina train crash in France, another missing and four others as wounded in action while serving in the European theater.

Mrs. Esther Korsmeier, 200 South Volutsia, has been notified that her son, Second Lieut. Robert Korsmeier, died in a train wreck at St. Valorie, France, January 17. He was a graduate of East High and Wichita University. He entered service in May of 1943 and was commissioned a second lieutenant in an armored division at Fort Knox, Ky. He went overseas January 1.
