Mrs. Mabel Kinney Lowry, of 131 Circle drive, died Thursday night in Wesley hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Lowry was the wife of George M. Lowry, president of Wichita Flour Mills company.

She was born in Zanesville, O., and spent much of her earlier life in Hutchinson, Kan. She married Lowry in 1901 at Hutchinson.

The couple came to Wichita in 1913 from Pond Creek, Okla. She was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist church, and also associated with the Unity Center church.

Beside her husband, she is survived by a son, William K. Lowry, Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Herman Seebold, New Orleans, La.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gill Mortuary.
