Mrs. Augusta Florence Matthews, 68, of 403 North Volutsia, died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital. The widow of Carl Matthews, she had been a resident of Wichita for 40 years. She was born Jan 18, 1880, in Rosalia, Kan., and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic church.
Surviving are a step-son, Frank Matthews, Amarillo, Tex., three brothers, H. H. Miller, 319 West Third, J. B. Miller, in Colorado, and C. F. Miller, Oklahoma City; a sister, Mrs. John Vories, Oklahoma City; two nephews and five nieces.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gill.
