Retired Farmer Dies

Charles A. Miller claimed by death Sunday at Age of 84

Charles A. Miller, 84, retired farmer, died Sunday evening at his home, six miles west of Wichita on the Cannonball, following a short illness.

He was a native of Fairfax, Ohio, and came to Sedgwick County in 1885 from Missouri. He was a member of the Christian Church.

Miller is survived by his wife, Rosa M., and a daughter, Josephine Anna, both at home; five sons, Harold and Maurice, both of Waynoka, Okla., G. Lawrence, Topeka, Francis, Chicago, Ill., and Everett, Tallulah, La.; a sister, Mrs. Laura Canterbury, Kansas City, Mo., and a brother, Dr. E. B. Miller, Wakita, Okla.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Downing mortuary. Burial will be in the Goddard, Kan., Cemetery.
