WICHITA MAN SHOT IN TEXAS

A man listed as J. B. Morris, 37, of Wichita, was shot to death in a Dallas, Tex., hotel Friday morning. The Associated Press reported that police had arrested Mike Sansone, 31, Kansas City, on charges of murder in connection with the shooting.
No J. B. Morris is listed in Wichita's telephone directory. A man by that name formerly was associated with the National Life and Accident Insurance Company here, but officials of that firm reported Saturday that he is in the army and has been about two years. He is 32.
The murdered man was shot once thru the side. He died on an emergency room operating table in Dallas hospital 45 minutes after the shooting.
Sansone was transferred to the Dallas County jail after formal charges were filed and later was released after making $2,500 bond.
International News Service said the trouble occurred in a hotel room. Names and statements of three men and three women who were in the room were taken. Sansone and the witnesses told officers that the shooting followed Morris' cursing one of the women. He became angry at Sansone for interfering, they said. Morris was said to have threatened Sansone.
