Rites to Be at

Newton Monday

NEWTON, KAN. –

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Anna Steele, 69, Rural Route 1, Sedgwick, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Zion Lutheran Church, Newton. The Rev. Luther E. Vogel, pastor, will officiate.

Mrs. Steele, a native of Newton, died at her home Thursday. She and her husband, Glenn, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 28. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and its Ladies Aid Society.

Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Ratzlaff, of the home, and Mrs. Nellie Zielke, Fontana, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Clinton Spencer, Newton; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton. Moody-Petersen Funeral Home, Newton, is in charge of arrangements.
