HEART ATTACK
PROVES FATAL

Earl Franklin Whedbee, 54, of 410 North Handley, Life-long resident of Wichita, suffered a heart attack and died Friday evening at his home. A barber by trade, Whedbee was born on January 21, 1897 in this city. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Edna Whedbee, 406 North Handley; two sons, Robert Eugene Whedbee, with the American embassy in Madrid, Spain, and Arnold F. Whedbee, stationed at the sub- marine base at New London, Conn.; a daughter, Mary Phyllis Whedbee, Denver, Col.; three sisters, Dr. Gladys Lange, Ft. Worth, Tex., Mrs. Vina D. Quigley, El Monte, Calif., and Mrs. Faye Soto, 406 North Handley; and two bothers, Clarence Whedbee, of the home, and James Ralph Whedbee, 1616 West Thirty-fifth.
Funeral services will be announced by the Culbertson Mortuary.
