August "Gus" W. Bruggeman, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at his home. He was born May 11, 1912, on a farm east of Selden, son of Tony and Margaret (Wolf) Bruggernan. He attended Cresco Country School and graduated from Selden Rural High School in 1931. He was a farmer-stockman. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include a sister, Bertha Bruggeman, He was preceded in death by a brother, Anton, and a sister, Doretta Bruggeman.
Burial in the Selden Cemetery.
