Thelma Cooper, 104, Hoxie, died Thursday, Sept 14, 2006, at Sheridan County Long Term Care in Hoxie. She was born March 22, 1902, near Hoxie, daughter of Luther and Elizabeth Jane "Jennie" (Mahanna) Suffecool. She married Roy Cooper on Aug 30, 1923, at her parents' home near Hoxie. He preceded her in death April 30, 1989. She was a farm wife and a life-long Hoxie area resident.
Survivors include one son, Ted Cooper, one daughter, Irene Follis, seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one grandson and one great-grandson.
Burial in the Hoxie Cemetery.
