Dennis "Jim" H. Corder, 87, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1002, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care Facility. He was born Nov. 20, 1914, in Sheridan County, son of Joseph and Rosa (Hetrick) Corder. He attended Pleasant Ridge County School and graduated from Quinter in 1934. He married Laura Belle Hase on May 12, 1940. In 1934, his family moved to Selden. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Masonic Lodge and Shriners.
Survivors include a son, Michael, a daughter, Flossy Young,a sister, Thelma Fowler, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1981, seven brothers, Elmer "Dick, " Elmo "Bill," Jud, Ervin, Lee, Herb, and an infant, and a sister, Violet Yeleke.
Burial in the Selden Cemetery.
