M. Ford Farber, 72, Norton, died
Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at his home.

He was born Oct. 4, 1935, near Hoxie to Willard and Eula Hamilton Farber. He graduated from Fort Hays State University, with bachelors and master's degrees in industrial arts. He married Shirley Sealock on Aug. 21, 1955, in Hoxie. He taught and coached at junior high, high school and junior colleges for 39 years.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; five sons, Alan Farber, Curt Farber, Bruce Farber, and Eric Farber, and Scott Farber, three sisters, Joan Taylor, Rose Wagoner, and Linda Randolph; nine grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Methodist Church, Norton. Additional services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Methodist Church, Hoxie; inurnment in Hoxie Cemetery.
