Harold "Rocky" Dean Getz, 78, Fort Dodge, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at Kansas Soldiers Home, Fort Dodge. He was born Sept. 11, 1927, in Tasco, son of Harmon and Hazel (Cunningham) Getz. He married Wilma Rebarchek on July 31, 1948, in Hoxie. He was owner and operator of Getz Country Store, Webster.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Dean Getz, a brother, Elton Getz, a sister, Vida Jean Hill, two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hoxie Cemetery, Hoxie. Cremation has taken place.
