U.S. ARMY VETERAN OF THE KOREAN WAR

Donald Ray Hinger, 70, Hoxie, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Sheridan County Hospital in Hoxie, Kansas. He was born May 5, 1937, in Kincaid, Kansas to Irl Philip and Leona May Baldridge Hinger. He married Charlotte Faye Southerland of Lone Elm, Kansas in 1960. He was a veteran of the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He worked in the trucking industry as a driver for various trucking companies in western Kansas. From 1981 to 2003, he owned and operated Prickett Son, Inc. trucking company in Hoxie. For the past year, he managed the Hoxie Elks Lodge and was a long-standing member.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, three daughters, Cheryl Flink , Michele Crockett, and Mary Beth Bieker; one brother, John Hinger, and sisters, Mary Le Smith, and Betty Jo Gardner, and six grandchildren.

Burial in Kincaid, Kansas, Anderson County.
