Selden - Mrs. Julia Knopp, 70, died July 4. She was stricken with a heart attack in church and died almost instantly during the middle of the Mass. A Requiem High Mass was offered by the Rev. P. L. Cronin July 7 in the Sacred Heart Church of Selden. Burial was in the parochial cemetery.

Mrs. Knopp lived on a farm near Selden most of her life. Several years ago she moved near the church where she spent much of her time before the Blessed Sacrament.

Surviving are two sons, Vincent of Selden and Clarence of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Lindeman, Menlo and Mrs. Louise Schumacher, Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Geary, Denver, Mrs. Cecelia Stegeman, Concordia, Mrs. Helena Diederich, Selden; and one brother, Fred Mumm of Selden.

Pallbearers were Fred Wachendorfer, Arnold Mumm, Edwin Mumm, George Andrijeski, Bernard Diederich, and Marvin Knopp.

Sister Louis Marie, her niece, and Sister Margaret Rose of Concordia were among those who attended the funeral.- (Mrs. Lucy Karthauser, Reporter).
