A CHILD TAKEN
Hoxie friends of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Knopp were pained to learn Monday, of the sudden death of their little son, Wayne, following a brief illness of summer complaint.
He was a bright, manly little boy of only eight summers, their only child. Naturally, he was the pride and joy of the home, and like all kind parents, their energies were bent in providing for his welfare and comfort, and in their sad bereavement, the grief stricken parents have the kindness sympathy of all their many friends.
Funeral services were held at the home in Selden Tuesday and burial made in the Hoxie cemetery. Rev. Griffiths had charge of the services at Selden and Rev. Haberly performed the last sad rites at the cemetery at Hoxie.
