 Donald Laevenstein, 61, of Hoxie, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at the Sheridan County Health Complex, in Hoxie.

He was born Jan. 25, 1947, in Quinter to Gabe and Elizabeth (Denning) Laevenstein.

He married Janet Diederich on May 25, 1968, in Selden. He owned Eastside Auto Service, Hoxie.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Jeannie Hamrick, and Shelly Kuhn, a brother, Jim Laevenstein, a sister, Mary Bogner, and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Frances Catholic Church, Hoxie; burial in St. Frances Catholic Cemetery
