Laura Annette McWilliams, 90, Emporia, formerly of Quinter, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at her home. She was born
Sept. 30, 1917, in rural Gove County to Alfred H. and Bertha 'Tillie' (Olson) Lewis. She was a 1936 graduate of Gove Rural High School.

She married Ronald R. McWilliams on Oct. 9, 1937, in Goodland. He preceded her in death Nov. 3, 1983. She later married Dennis H. Corder in December 1985. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Edwin Gorsky, a step-son, Mike Corder, two daughters, Dorothy June Hubert, and Margaret Voorhies, McDonald; a step-daughter, Florence Mae Young, 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Tom McWilliams.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Quinter; internment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Studley.
