Ervin Thomas Pickering Sr. 65, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Neb., from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born Aug. 27, 1938, in Kinsley, son of Hebar and Florence (Kunkle) Pickering.
He married Sharon Simmons on March 24,1988, in Kinsley. They moved to Selden from Hoxie six years ago. He was employed by Ron's Tire Shop, Oberlin.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, J. R. Pickering, Randy Pickering, and Michael Pickering, four daughters, Angela Milligan and Katina Manis, Karen Adelman, and Kendra Manis, three brothers, Jerry, Wilbur, and Harvey, 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Burial in the Hoxie Cemetery.
