Madeline M. Rumback, 88, Holdrege, Neb., formerly of Hill City, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Holdrege, Neb.
She was born Aug. 9, 1919, in rural Cloud County to Levi Francis and Margaret Marie (Tremblay) Ribordy.
She married Joseph Rumback on Oct. 25, 1938, in Grainfield. He preceded her in death Feb. 4, 1993. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Rumback, and Les Rumback, two daughters, Wanda Wire, and Juliana Rome, two brothers, Kenneth Ribordy and Lenard Ribordy, three sisters, Marcella Albers, Mary Ann Racette and Rita Huffman, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
A daughter, Geraldine Rome, preceded her in death.
Burial was in the in St. Francis Cemetery, Hoxie.
