John F. Schuhart, 93, Oberlin, formerly of Leoville, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in Hays. He was born Aug. 24, 1915, in Sheridan County to Peter J. and Anna (Ritter) Schuhart. He attended Green Valley School. He was a farmer.

Survivors include a brother, Aloysius "Shorty" Schuhart.

Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leoville.
