Donald R. Stephens, 75, Hoxie, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Swedish Hospital, Englewood, Colo. He was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Angelus to Peter and Margaret Bixenman Stephens. He married Carol Mowry on Jan. 24, 1956, in Seguin. He managed two feedlots.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Russell Stephens, two daughters, Kim Stephens, and Suzann Demple, two sisters, Alice Ostmeyer, and Stella Kruse, 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Hoxie; burial in St. Frances Catholic Cemetery.
