Dixie Lee Scott Schmehr, 73, Hill City, died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Denver Health. She was born April 25, 1934, in Sheridan County to LeRoy Winfield and Mary Mildred Erwin Scott. She attended school in Studley. She married Robert Lee Schmehr in 1956. She was a police dispatcher, an emergency medical technician and worked at the local Standard Oil station in Hill City.
Survivors include a son, Scott Lee Schmehr, three daughters, Dixie Lee Dreher, Roberta Lee Maddux, and Zoe Lee Valentine, 14 brothers and sisters; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A son, Raymond Lee, and a grandson preceded her in death.

Burial in Lucern Cemetery, Sheridan County, Kansas.
