Royce Mitchell Teeter, 83, Oakley, died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at Logan County Hospital, Oakley. He was born April 12, 1924, in Sheridan County to Russell "Todd" and Bertha (Griffith) Teeter. He was the director of transportation for USD 274 until retiring in 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Fred Teeter, and Ron Teeter, two daughters, Marilynn Reed, and Ann Gilkerson, a brother, Earl Griffith; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie, on April 3, 2002; a daughter, Pamela Jo, and a infant daughter, Denise Sue.
Burial in the Oakley Cemetery, Logan County, Kansas.
