Bernita Marie Weber, 72, Hoxie, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Sheridan County Long Term Care, Hoxie.  She was born January 14, 1937 to Seraphine and Anna (Feldt) Depperschmidt in rural Sheridan County.  She married Kenneth Weber February 23, 1957 at Leoville.  He died July 22, 2001;.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Al Jay of Dresden, and three infant brothers, John, Melvin and Elmer.

 

She is survived by two sons and their families, Rick and Beverly Weber and their children Shelby, Reid, and Rhett of Waukomis, OK, and Greg and Thresia Weber and their children Bailey and Riley of Hoxie, a sister, Viola Koerperich of McCook, NE; many nieces and nephews and other family members.

 

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21 at St. Frances Catholic Church, Hoxie.  Memorial may be made to Sheridan County EMS, Ridgewood Manor, or the donor’s choice, and sent in care of the funeral home.
