I am looking for information on Clarence E Hunt. He lived with Clyde Cooper of St. John until he was drafted in the 40s. He died in the war and  I now believe he is buried in Stafford County. For many years I thought he was buried overseas. Thank you.

SCEALS, SEALE, SEALS

Sue Canaday February 23, 2006
I am trying to locate information in St John and Great Bend but I was not sure were to email. The person's that I am looking for is my Grandfather Denver Sceals, Seale or Seals DOB /1900 (spelled all three ways in census) and my Grandmother Florence Luncinda Sceals DOB /1902. Florence is buried in the Cemetery in Great Bend. I do have the article of her dying in a car accident and I have the Obit for Florence, however, I have nothing showing Denver in your area. If you can direct me to the person or person's that does the Genealogy for Stafford Co area (St John and Great Bend) I would be extremely grateful.  Thanks for your assistance

MILLER, SENCHEN, SAINCHEN, SAENCHEN

Dean Miller  August 18, 2006
I am seeking information on my GGrandparents. The following is the information I have gathered on them.  Henry Miller b 11/24/1830-31,  m Catharine Senchen/Sainchen/Saenchen  8/21/1861in Wayne Cty, Ohio. d 7/23/1908 in Larned, Ks. Henry was converted and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at Lincoln in 1899.(Larned/St. John,Ks) ? Catharine (Kate) Senchen/Sainchen b 5/25/1836 d 12/25/1908 in Hutchinson, Ks. Catharine joined the German Lutheran Church at age 14 in Wooster, Ohio. Catharine and Henry had 8 children, in Ohio and the family moved to Stafford County, Ks CIRCA 1885. They attended the Lincoln M.E. Church, possibly in St. John, Larned or a small town near St. John. The only other information I have is from the obituary of Henry in which it states the pastor was Rev. W. T. Danner for his conversion and that Rev. H.C. Hechinsmith and Rev. L. W. Kemp conducted the funeral services.  The obituary of Kate indicates the services were performed at the Lincoln Methodist Church by the Rev. W. B. Barton which could have been in Larned or St. John? Looking forward to your reply.
