Funeral Rites Held Sunday For H. Fauchier

Funeral services for Henry Forrest Fauchier, 73, of 103 North St. Mary's, Caldwell, were held Sunday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m., in the Schaeffer Mortuary Chapel. Mr. Fauchier, a retired school district warehouse employee, died suddenly Thursday afternoon, Aug 17th.

Rev. Paul Richards, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, officiated at the services. Organist was Mrs. Helen Dodson. Vocalist was Angila Peters.

Interment was in the Forrest Hill Cemetery at Ashton, Kansas. Bearers were George Nulik, Ted Kubik, Marshall Futhey, Carence Keim, Claude Pocock, Howard Clark, Joe Struble and Ray Royal.

Masonic services were conducted at the graveside.

Mr. Fauchier was born May 15, 1905 in Oklahoma, the son of Elmer E. and Mae McCants Fauchier. He and Edna M. Hughes were married Nov 29, 1925, in Caldwell. They moved back to Caldwell from Ontario, Calif., in September 1976.

Mr. Fauchier was a member of Sunflower Lodge No. 86 and Scottish Rite of Free Masonary, Wichita, and the Central Christian Church, Caldwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; a son, Forrest D. Fauchier of Fresno, Calif.; a daughter, Jennie D. Futhey of Upland, Calif.; a brother, Gilbert Fauchier of Wakita, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Lois Martin of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Dean Keown and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Huges of Caldwell.
