Donald R. Eaton, 54, Ellis, died on April 29, 2006, at his home in Ellis. He was born January 12, 1952, in Tucumcari, N.M., son of Fletcher & Ruby (Long) Eaton. He married Susan Honas on June 2, 1973, in Ellis, He was an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was employed by American Eagle Oil Company as a driller.
He is survived by his wife, Emilie, a son, Josh Eaton, a daughter, Aaron Novack, two brothers, Jim Eaton & Jerry Eaton, four sisters, Helen Brown, Betty Hoag, Mary Ann Ast, & Linda Eaton, & a granddaughter, Jordyn Eaton. He was preceded in death by his parents, & two brothers, Johnny Eaton & Joe Eaton.
