Eugene Everett Mollenkamp, 83, Arnold, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Ness County Long Term Care, Ness City. He was born June 4, 1924, in Trego County to George W. and Lena L. Weidman Mollenkamp. He married Anna "Annie" Bauer on May 16, 1954, in Clayton, N.M. He owned and operated a service station in Arnold. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War, earning two Bronze Stars.

He was a member of Ransom Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7972.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Jim Mollenkamp, a daughter, Melody Wendland and husband, Andy, a brother, Harold Mollenkamp, and two grandsons, Daniel and Gage Wendland.

He was preceded in death by a infant son, Steven Lee Mollenkamp.

Burial was in Arnold Cemetery, with military rites by Ransom VFW Post No. 7972.
