The Court House was built in 1889 at a cost of $40,000.00 & it was said to be the finest Courthouse west of the Missouri River.

This is a picture of the Trego County House, taken from the south east, is copied from a post card purchased on Ebay by Eva Rumpel - our Trego County Register of Deeds.
This photo shows the original building with it's original roof design, before the steeples were removed.
