Going with a guess that the missing ancestor "Valentine Bernhard" left Iowa..headed towards CA where the rest of the family was...but didn't make it? I've heard that after the 1880s' there was alot of free land etc. and he was definitely a farmer...so I'm guessing Kansas...where...I don't have a clue...

Query: I am seeking information on Franklin Maxwell and Benjamin Brown Stout (brothers). born in Weston, Lewis County, WV. Lived in Kansas in late 1800's or early 1900's. Frankin married Martha Lenora "Mattie" Dobbins from Kansas. They may have worked as farmers. Benjamin was also a school teacher and taught in several KS schools. Query:I am seeking information on Martha Lenora "Mattie" (Dobbins) Stout Bost and descendants. Martha was born (unknown) Kansas in 1884. She married Franklin Maxwell Stout on Sept. 6, 1902 (probably in Pueblo, CO). They lived at 1121 Pine Street, Pueblo, CO.They had a son Harry Raymond Stout,b.July 7, 1903, Pueblo, CO. They also had a set of twins, Elsie and Elmer Stout, b. Aug.5, 1905. Elsie died on date of birth, Elmer died Aug. 21, 1905. Martha shows up in the 1920 census for Pueblo,and also living with them is a Glenn Chapel, age 3 listed as brother. Martha does not appear in the 1930 census. I later found son Harry in California. Here is his obit: Stout, Harry R., beloved husband of Hazel,loving father of Frankie and Donald Stout, Jim Cardinal, Earl and Bill Cooper, Evelyn Howard and Mary Granlund. Son of Mattie Bost, also survived by seven grandchildren. Died on January 5, 1952 in Los Angeles County, CA. I have found no further information on Martha. I would like to contact any of her family, who might know the whereabouts of Frankie and Donald Stout or their children. Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share information on the rest of the Stout family with any descendants.

I don't know how many children they had, I know of 2. MINNIE EMMA JOHNSON, b. 26Feb1902. Also LOUISE JOHNSON (she married someone with the surname of Lollys or Lollies), b?

Minnie Emma Johnson's #1 husband was name Pendergras(t) They had 5 children: Geraldine, Francis "Roger", Bernadine, Elwood, Dixie.

Husband #2 (I don't know if they were ever legally married.) was FRANCIS JOSEPH SALER, b around 1886, St. Louis Mo, d. 1938, Chicago, IL. (He was a Tuckpointer-Marble Finisher.)Minnie Emma Johnson took her sister Louise's name, the name she died with was Louise Stewart. Francis and 'Louise' had a total of 6 children: Frank, Dale, Robert "Bob", Mary Lou, James Roland, b.1935,Infant girl don't know her name) was kid-napped and never returned at less than 6 months old.

Husband #3 Don Stewart. No children.

I am looking for a family (Buckbee). Father was Josiah Buckbee, One son was William P. Buckbee, Another was Benjamin Franklin Buckbee. They were last in the the W.V. census in 1850.
