Query: Looking for information on death/burial or late life migration of Marshal L. Coffey (b. 28 Apr 1821 in Adair Co. KY). Marshal's parents were Ananias Coffey and Jane Hindman (m. 1809 Adair). Marshal had children with Polly Logan/Coffey in mid-1850's (Matilda, Louisa Nancy, and Junior Logan) but no proof of a marriage. Marshal was married to Jemima Silky from 1860? to 1880 when she died, but they had no children. Unable to locate Marshal after 1880. His children migrated to Kansas in the early 1880's. Also any info on Polly Logan/Coffey (she was a mulatto slave born in VA). |
