In my Atchison County info. all I have is marriage records in which William Shortridge 23 married Elizabeth I. Moore 18 in December 1868. Both were from Atchison, Kansas and married by Justice of the Peace. So sorry.

I am looking for John Benedict, b. ca 1838, Married to Ester Maria, b. ca 1844. They moved to KS from PA before 1906. They had 3 children when they moved, Abraham, b. ca 1862; Laura B., b. ca 1866; William R., b. ca 1867. Brothers obit says John lived in Herington, KS.

Searching for death date, death location, and burial place for Samuel MYERS/MEYERS, son of a German immigrant. He was born in Pennsylvania about 1831. He arrived in Iowa at the age of 15 and married Charlotte LANE sometime after 1850. Four of their children include Nancy, Phebe, William, and Lillie. After residing in Iowa, Samuel and Charlotte moved to Nebraska and then to Kansas where Samuel died. His widow was living in or near Sayre, Beckham Co., OK in 1909.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! I am willing to share info.

Looking for information on James Morgan Davis b. 6/3/1846 in IN or KY. Moved to KS. Married Emiline Mitchell b. 8/29/1849. Don't know whether marriage was before or after move to KS.

And their son Julian Custer Davis b. 10/2/1883 somewhere in KS. Part of life was in Iola, KS. May be other unknown relatives in that area. He died ??. Buried in Emporia, KS (does Emporia have an online cemetery index/registry?).

I am trying to begin our Family tree. But don't have much to go on. I have My GrandFather who was Robert D. Baker, who married Sophrona Catherine..... Last Name unknown They had 5 Children.
Grover, who married Blanch and had 2 kids Gladys and Lloyd
Arnold, who was married, but wife unknown had 2 kids, Lois and Bob... Arnold died in Bakersville, California
Cecil, who married Alice Arlene Holt.. Had 2 children Catherine Arlene, and Doris Irene. Cecil Died in 1948, in Wallowa, Oregon
Lee, Who never married, and had no children
Sylvia, who married a guy with the last name of Ellison and had 3 children Floyd, Helen, and Naydne.
Sylvia, and her husband are buried in Hiattville, Kansas

All the Kids, Grover, Arnold, Cecil, Lee, and Sylvia were born in Kansas, at or near Fort Scott, Hutchinson or Hiattville, Kansas...

I have heard that Jacob Klein settled around Ellinwood (Elliswood) Kansas in the 1850's or 1860's. He was the son of Michael and Barbara (Thul) Klein.

Please let me know if such a town exists, what county it is in and if anyone has heard of and has info on him.

I am looking for any information on James JACQUE. His fathers name was Joseph JACQUE. My grandmother did not talk about her father.

James married Rosetta Jane Baysinger, they had one daughter Ethel Effie JACQUE b. 19, August 1892 in Oklahoma Territory. Family rumors have it that James died in Kansas and left my grandmother some money in his will. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
