Topic: Cynthia THOMPSON b.1846 OH d. 1905 KY
From: Sharon Tabor fmlytracer@aol.com
Date: Tuesday, January 18, 2000 04:20 AM

I am searching for the Parents of Cynthia THOMPSON b. 1846 OH, d. 1905 Barren Co KY. According to census records her parents were born in VA. She married William Christopher HAINES of Barren Co KY in Christian Co IL 1862 where he was visiting relatives. The 1910 Census for her daughter Ida Haines WEAVER gives Cynthia's birth as KS. My theory is that the family left VA, on the way to KS had Cynthia in OH, and due to the policical turmoil was heading east again in the early 1860's.

Any help or information about this THOMPSON family would be appreciated. Sharon Tabor fmlytracer@aol.com

Henry Clay Waters, son of Linville Waters, made application to the Guion Miller Roll as a Cherokee in 1906, but was rejected. He was living in Galena, Cherokee County, Kansas. I do not know what became of him. If anyone knows anything about this family I would like to know. I know his family history from 1799, which I would be pleased to share. Do you have his spouse? I have a Zola Lucille Mock, married a Waters. They didn't stay together or he died, I'm not sure which but she married a second time to my grandfather. There was one child born from Lucille Mock and Mr. Waters, Franklin Eugene Waters. For some reason, he didn't live with his mother or father. He was raised by a family named Cook, and as a result used the surname Cook throughout his life. Does anyone know of him? He was my Uncle. Laura

KRUDWIG, CHARLES VICTOR disappeared ca 1915 from Joplin, Missouri. Family believes he may have gone to Kansas because other Krudwigs lived there. He was a cook by occupation and was probably an alcoholic. Does Kansas have a mortality index? Would someone please check to see if he is on it for any year after 1914?
