Where was Jason Finnicum after 1880? He and his three sons were listed in U.S. Census of 1880 in Fawn Twp., Montgomery Co., Kansas. His sons later lived with relatives who we can't identify.

Jason was a Civil War veteran. I had hoped to find him in some list of veterans' grave sites, but not so far.

I think that it was Jason's half-sister, Clara Finicum, whose photo I have. It was taken in Independence of a young girl.

I would welcome any suggestion of what local sources I might search for these folks between 1870 and 1890.
