My great-grandparents Henry Thomas LARRABEE and Jennie STARR LARRABEE went from Illinois to Haskell CO in 1887. I am guessing that their purpose was to homestead but I don't know that for sure. Unfortunately my great-grandfather died the following year of typhoid fever in Example, Kansas and his young wife and her infant daughter returned to Illinois to bury him and to remain with family. To those familiar with Kansas records, how can I learn whether they made a land claim in Haskell CO? Please contact direct. Thank you, Nora Tocus, Chicago
