I am researching the families of Brumage, VanPelt and Farrar from Mitchell County. I see in my information that a Sarah Brumage married 25 Sep 1889 Beloit, Kansas, to George Schroth by J.L. King, Minister. George was age 23 and Sarah was age 24. This information was taken from the Marriage Book of District Court, Beloit, Kansas.
I have no other information on the Scroths but thought this small bit might be of some significance to you.
